Job Summary:

The Pricing Engineer sits on the Business Intelligence team within Revenue Strategy & Planning. This team is dedicated to building and improving the pricing infrastructure that powers DMG’s go-to-market engine, separate from day-to-day deal execution.

This is a builder role. You will own the systems, logic, and automation that turn pricing models into tools the execution team can use quickly and at scale. Your work directly determines whether the Sales Ops team can price opportunities accurately and fast.

This role is designed for an experienced engineer who can own pricing systems end-to-end, balance platform engineering with business enablement, and work effectively in a fast-moving environment.

What You'll Do:

  • CPQ Infrastructure - Design, build, and maintain the Configure-Price-Quote systems that translate pricing models into usable outputs. Own the full flow from model logic to quote-ready pricing.
  • Pricing Model Implementation - Take pricing models developed by the Data Scientist and turn them into production-ready tools. Make sure models are versioned, tested, and deployed with clear documentation.
  • Automation & Tooling - Build workflow automation that cuts manual pricing steps, including data pipelines, rate card engines, trade-level pricing templates, and integration with cloud data layers.
  • Release Management - Own the model deployment process: pricing model reviews, testing protocols, and sign-off from the execution team before any model goes live. Prevent version drift between what the model team builds and what execution uses.
  • Data Infrastructure - Work within the existing cloud data ecosystem to make sure pricing tools pull from unified, accurate data sources including site-level data, historical performance, and competitive benchmarks.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
  •

    What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5+ years building pricing systems, CPQ platforms, or revenue operations tooling in a production environment.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience in Snowflake or a comparable cloud data platform.
  • Python proficiency for automation, data pipelines, and model operationalization.
  • Experience translating analytical models into production systems that non-technical users can operate.
  • Understanding of facilities maintenance, services marketplaces, or multi-trade pricing is a strong plus.
  • Comfort using AI tools to speed up coding, problem-solving, and documentation.
  • Ownership-oriented mindset with attention to detail and a focus on reliability.
  • Ability to manage the stress of a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet the in-person requirements of the team and/or business needs.
  •
